Danielle Pollack works in close collaboration with legal and social science experts, federal and state lawmakers, advocates, and survivor families to create comprehensive child-centric policy reforms and provide education on family courts. Pollack is a policy expert at the National Family Violence Law Center at GW Law in Washington, D.C., and manages the NFVLC Legislative Clearinghouse. She initiated and jointly developed the landmark child protective "Kayden's Law", Keeping Children Safe From Family Violence Act, which was recently signed into federal law by President Biden. Pollack is co-founder of the national umbrella organization for U.S. family court reform, National Safe Parents Organization (NSPO), and is co-director of The Court Said USA, the U.S. branch of The Court Said International. Her short documentary film, Voices for Reform, presents on family court system failures where children are at risk of violence and safe parents are denied the right to protect them. The film has been used to raise awareness at the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), in courts, and at universities and research centers internationally.
