- The LGBTQIA+ community is all too often underserved in the behavioral health field. Whether it is lack of understanding of the gender and sexual identities, or the heteronormativity that plagues the western world, gender affirming care is needed and necessary to facilitate healing for our LGBTQIA+ community members. In this training, we will explore queer identities and discuss ways that we can affect change.
