- The purpose of this webinar is to situate intimate partner violence (IPV) in the context of historical trauma (e.g., slavery), structural violence, (e.g., racial discrimination), institutional violence, and community violence. Service professionals will learn to conduct comprehensive assessments for a range of violence that disproportionately impacts Black survivors, including nonfatal strangulation, domestic homicide, and reproductive coercion.
