Given the current events in the United States related to race relations and social reform, understanding historical trauma's impact is essential when working with marginalized populations. The presentation will cover the origins, impact, transmission, and manifestation of historical trauma and how marginalized populations are impacted. Cultural trauma and oppression will also be discussed. Steps toward inclusion will be offered. This training is appropriate for all levels.
