Elena Cherepanov, PhD, LMHC is a clinical psychologist by training and a mental health counselor. She is an independent consultant specializing in global mental health. Her work spans clinical practice, teaching, and research, with a focus on multicultural integrated counseling, cultural trauma, and psychological effects of political violence. With over 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Cherepanov has authored more than 60 publications, including books and articles translated into multiple languages. Her book, Understanding the Transgenerational Legacy of Totalitarian Regimes: Paradoxes of Cultural Learning (Routledge, 2021), has garnered significant international recognition.
